Pete Hobson

Pete Hobson is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in backend engineering and programming across various companies within the gaming and creative industries. Currently serving as Lead Backend Engineer at Escape Velocity Entertainment since February 2023, Pete previously held the position of Principal Engineer at Playmint from January 2022 to February 2023. Prior to that role, significant contributions were made as Lead Backend Engineer at Hangar 13 and Lead UI Programmer at Creative Assembly. Additionally, Pete founded Metacoded Ltd, offering technical solutions for diverse applications including video games and e-commerce. Notably, a strong interest in blockchain composability and the development of innovative workflows has been a consistent theme throughout Pete’s career.
