Daniel Starkey has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to present. Daniel began their career as a Commercial Manager at Serco Leisure, where they were responsible for staff management, sales, training, recruitment, and meeting revenue targets. In 2008, they joined Confirmit GmbH as a Business Development Manager, successfully acquiring new clients and expanding into new markets, particularly in the DACH region. In 2011, they became the Business Development Director at Confirmit GmbH, where they established the company's presence in the Market Research and Enterprise Feedback Management industries in Germany.

In 2013, Starkey joined Trusted Shops GmbH as a Partner Manager, where they managed and developed the Trusted Shops Partner network across Europe and created an Affiliate Partner Program for the UK. Daniel then moved on to Enterprise Ireland in 2014, serving as a Senior Market Advisor. Daniel also stays informed about country-specific influencing factors, such as culture, economy strength, regulatory challenges, and competition and partnering opportunities.

Daniel Starkey completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education and Sport from the University of Greenwich between 2002 and 2005. Daniel then pursued further education at ESCP Business School, where they obtained a Certificate in People and International Organisations Management from 2020 to 2021. Following that, they completed an Advanced Certificate in International Business from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are enrolled in an Executive Master program in International Business at ESCP Business School, expected to be completed in 2023.
