Alice Chen

Alice Chen has over 20 years of experience in clinical operations and project management. Alice began their career in 2000 at Isis Pharmaceuticals as an Assistant Director of Clinical Operations and Sr. Clinical Trial Manager. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Sr. Clinical Trial Manager at Salmedix, Inc. and then as a Clinical Project Manager at Exact Clinical Research from 2006 to 2013. Alice then moved to Zafgen, Inc. where they held the roles of Sr. Director and Director of Clinical Operations from 2013 to 2019. In 2019, they worked as an Executive Director of Clinical Operations at Emerald Health Sciences Inc. and then as an Executive Director of Clinical Operations & Project Management at Skye Bioscience Inc. Alice is currently an Executive Director of Clinical Operations & Project Management at Escient Pharmaceuticals.

Alice Chen attended UC San Diego from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
