Beatrice Ferguson

Beatrice Ferguson has a long and varied work experience. Beatrice began their career in 2001 as a Program Coordinator at the Transportation Foundation of Los Angeles. In 2003, they joined SynteractHCR as a Biostatistician and later progressed to roles of increasing responsibility, including Supervisor, Manager, Senior Manager, and Associate Director of Biostatistics. In 2014, they moved to Theorem Clinical Research as Director of Statistics. In 2015, they joined Intercept Pharmaceuticals as Director of Biostatistics and Programming. In 2017, they moved to Receptos, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Celgene, as Director of Biostatistics. In 2019, they joined Gossamer Bio as Director of Biostatistics and is currently working at Escient Pharmaceuticals as Senior Director of Biometrics & Data Analytics.

Beatrice Ferguson obtained a BS in Statistics from the University of Michigan between 1996 and 2000. Beatrice then went on to receive an MS in Operations Research Engineering from the University of Southern California between 2000 and 2001. In June 2001, they obtained a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from the American Society for Quality.
