Jennifer Brooks

Jennifer Brooks has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jennifer began their career in 1998 as a Senior Scientist at Isis Pharmaceuticals. In 2001, they moved to BIota Inc., Carlsbad, CA, where they served as Assistant Director of Analytical Chemistry & Biochemistry. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Research Scientist at Anadys Pharmaceuticals and Kemia, Inc. respectively. In 2008, they joined Receptos as a Senior Principal Investigator, and in 2018, they moved to Gossamer Bio in the same role. Currently, they are a Senior Director at Escient Pharmaceuticals.

Jennifer Brooks obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego between 1986 and 1990. Jennifer then went on to pursue a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz, which they completed in 1997.
