Marion Lanier

Marion Lanier has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. Marion began their career in 1995 as a Post-doc at Lehigh University where they worked on the development of prodrugs. In 1998, they joined Neurocrine Biosciences as a Research Scientist I and was promoted to Senior Scientist and then Principal Scientist. In 2008, they moved to the Human BioMolecular Research Institute as a Medicinal Chemist. In 2011, they joined Takeda San Diego, Inc. as a Senior Scientist and was later promoted to Principal Scientist. Since 2019, they have been working at Escient Pharmaceuticals as Director and Associate Director - Chemistry.

Marion Lanier obtained a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Université Côte d'Azur between 1986 and 1996.
