Terri Kim

Terri Kim has held various roles in the pharmaceutical industry since 1997. Terri began their career at Insmed Incorporated as a Clinical Research Associate and Research Associate / Lab Manager from 1997 to 2002. Terri then moved to Amylin Pharmaceuticals, where they held the roles of Clinical Investigator, Senior Clinical Scientist, Clinical Scientist, and Associate Clinical Scientist from 2002 to 2009. After that, they joined The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as a Clinical Program Scientist from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Elcelyx Therapeutics Inc. as a Senior Director of Development, Director of Development, and Associate Director of Development. Terri then moved to Zafgen, Inc. as a Senior Director of Clinical Science from 2014 to 2019. Terri is currently working at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Senior Director of Clinical Science and Clinical Development since 2019, and at Escient Pharmaceuticals as an Executive Director of Clinical Development since 2020.

Terri Kim earned a Master of Bioscience from Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences between 2000 and 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles between 1989 and 1994.
