Ellenmae Leong

Ellenmae Leong currently serves as a Research Officer 1 at ESCO ASTER PTE LTD, where responsibilities include upstream lab-scale process development of lentivirus vector production, project leadership in influenza virus propagation studies, and downstream purification of viral vectors. Skills include titration of viruses using digital PCR and ELISA, training on 500mL bench-scale bioreactors, and management of project timelines while adhering to GDP and ISO 9001:2015 standards. Previously, as an Honours Year Research Student at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, Ellenmae conducted research on the epigenetic regulation of drug response in leiomyosarcoma, involving cell line culture and various molecular biology techniques. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science with Honours - Highest Distinction in Life Sciences from the National University of Singapore, complemented by foundational studies in science at Anglo-Chinese Junior College and Fairfield Methodist School.
