Nicholas Thomlison

Nicholas Thomlison is an accomplished Emergency Preparedness Manager for the City of Escondido since August 2025, with extensive experience in emergency management and training. Previously, Nicholas served as Senior Emergency Services Coordinator and Emergency Services Coordinator for the County of San Diego, where responsibilities included risk management and emergency response strategies. Nicholas's background also includes roles in business continuity at ICW Group, volunteer work with the Alzheimer's Association®, and classroom assistance for students with special needs. As a former business owner of CrossFit Temecula, Nicholas managed all aspects of the operation, while also contributing to CrossFit, Inc. as a Seminar Staff Trainer. Nicholas began a foundational career in leadership and training during service in the United States Marine Corps, supervising teams and training Marine Corps recruits in marksmanship. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Public Health from National University, earned between 2017 and 2019.
