Tyler Lockwood CPRP has extensive experience in community services and recreation management, currently serving as Community Services Supervisor III for the City of Escondido since February 2019. Prior roles include Substitute Teacher for the Escondido Union School District and various management positions at Welk Resorts, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing operations, staff coordination, and sales at multiple recreation centers. Tyler also contributed to culinary development as Culinary Garden Manager at Cal-a-Vie Health Spa, managing a significant garden redesign project. Earlier experiences include roles at Golden Door Spa, Alcatraz Island NPS, and YMCA, alongside teaching yoga. Tyler's educational background includes a B.S. in Recreation Parks and Tourism Administration from San Francisco State University and ongoing studies in Landscape Architecture at California State University San Marcos.
