Clay Johnston

Clay Johnston currently serves as Golf Course Superintendent at Escondido since May 2023. Prior to this role, Clay held the same position at Falconhead Golf Club from January 2022 to May 2023 and served as Senior Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Great Hills Country Club between January 2020 and January 2022. Clay's career in the golf industry began at Reunion Golf & Country Club as First Assistant Golf Course Superintendent from May 2017 to January 2020, following the position of Landscape Assistant/Spray Technician at Southern Turf Management from May 2015 to May 2017. The early stages of Clay's professional journey included work as a Farming Assistant at Pruitt Farms in 2014. Clay Johnston earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi and furthered education at The University of Georgia from August 2017 to May 2019.
