Brendon Weiss has extensive experience in the financial services and mortgage industries. Brendon began their career in 2003 as a Legislative Director for the U.S. House of Representatives. Brendon then worked as a Legislative Analyst for the US Securities and Exchange Commission's Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs from 2005 to 2007. Following this, they were a Vice President at Porterfield, Lowenthal & Fettig, LLC from 2007 to 2010. Brendon then worked as Vice President at NYSE Euronext from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, they became the Head of Business Development and Chief Operating Officer at MERSCORP Holdings, Inc. and ICE Mortgage Technology. Brendon also served as Co-Head of Government Affairs at Intercontinental Exchange from 2013 to 2019. In 2019, they founded Acta Strategies, LLC, a consulting firm that provides financial services, mortgage, and technology companies with business development, strategic analysis, product development and M&A services. In 2020, they co-founded EscrowTab and in 2021 they became a Board Member and Co-Founder of Axis Lending Academy.
Brendon Weiss attended the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 2007 to 2009, during which time they received a Master of Business Administration - MBA. Brendon also attended Northern Michigan University from 1996 to 1999.
