Glen Schut

Glen Schut has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles.

In 2014, they worked as an I.T Services Hardware Technician at Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. Glen was responsible for networking, building and imaging computers, as well as installing and maintaining DVPs (Classroom projectors). Glen held this position until May 2015.

From May 2015 to June 2021, Glen worked as a Web Administrator at Ontario Holsteins.

In October 2016, they joined eSentire as a Host Intrusion Analyst. Glen held this role until June 2021 and was involved in analyzing and responding to host intrusion alerts.

In June 2021, Glen was promoted to Team Lead, SOC at eSentire, where they played a key role in leading a team and overseeing the Security Operations Center.

In May 2023, they were further promoted to Manager, SOC Technical Operations at eSentire, where they currently hold this position.

Glen Schut completed their education at Conestoga College from 2013 to 2016. Glen pursued Computer Programming / Analyst as their field of study during this time. Additionally, Glen has obtained several certifications, including "Troubleshooting Your Network with Wireshark" from Lynda.com in September 2016, "Foundations of Networking: IP Addressing" from Lynda.com in August 2016, "Foundations of Networking: Networking Basics" from Lynda.com in August 2016, "Foundations of Networking: Protocols and CLI Tools" from Lynda.com in August 2016, and "Understanding IP Addressing" from Lynda.com in August 2016. Glen's acquisition of the "CompTIA Security+" certification, which occurred at an undisclosed time, remains unmentioned.
