Luis Ernesto Herrera Bedoya

Luis Ernesto Herrera Bedoya is an experienced engineer specializing in product and circular economy solutions, currently working at ESENTTIA since August 2022. Previously, Luis held the position of Head of Quality Assurance at Stanton S.A.S. from August 2018 to August 2022, leading quality assurance processes and driving improvements in polymer materials for various applications. Luis began a research career as a Conacyt Fellow at the CIQA, focusing on polymer technology while also contributing to packaging engineering at Empresas Polar. Earlier roles include positions in quality control at Grupo AJE. Luis holds a Master's degree in Polymer Technology from CIQA and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidad del Quindío. Additionally, Luis has training in high-performance combinatorial equipment from Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
