Cherie Willis

Cherie Willis, CPA has over 20 years of work experience in finance and accounting. Cherie began their career as a Staff Accountant at BDO Canada in 1999, where they worked until 2004. Cherie then joined Durward Jones Barkwell & Company LLP as a Staff Accountant for two years before moving on to E.S. FOX LIMITED in 2006. At E.S. FOX LIMITED, Cherie initially served as Vice President Finance, overseeing all accounting and financial functions. In 2023, they were promoted to Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, taking on additional responsibilities in strategic financial planning and decision-making. Throughout their career, Cherie has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, policy creation and implementation, as well as streamlining accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Cherie Willis, CPA has pursued their education from various institutions. Cherie first completed the CGA Program of Professional Studies, earning the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified General Accountant. Later, they attended Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce, with a focus on General Studies. Cherie also attended Brock University to study Co-op Accounting. Prior to their higher education, they attended Saint Paul Secondary School. Additionally, Cherie holds the certification of CPA, CGA from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario).
