Simon Turner is an experienced specialist in sustainable, ESG, and impact investing, currently serving as a freelance analyst and writer since March 2016 and as an ESG Analyst at ESG Analytics since June 2020. With a background that includes senior portfolio management roles at Kempen Capital Management and Balyasny Asset Management focusing on socially responsible investments, as well as climate change specialization at BlueCrest Capital Management, Simon has developed a strong expertise in European equities. An early career as an investment analyst at Dicksons Ltd laid the foundation for a robust skill set in investment research and client engagement. Simon holds a Master of Science in Carbon Management from the University of Edinburgh Business School, a CFA designation from the CFA Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts in Law from The Australian National University.
