Christian Friedrich

Christian Friedrich has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries. Christian is currently the Head of Sales for the DACH region at ESG Book. Prior to that, they worked at Scope Group as a Senior Manager in Sales Business Development from 2020 to 2022. From 2015 to 2020, they served as the Director of Market Engagement at S&P Global Ratings. Additionally, Christian has experience as a Lecturer at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management from 2014 to 2016. Christian also co-founded and served as the Managing Director of New Alley Capital Management GmbH from 2010 to 2014. Before that, they worked at Deka Investment as the Deputy Head of Structured Products from 2007 to 2010.

Christian Friedrich attended EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht from 2019 to 2020, where they pursued a degree in Sustainable & Responsible Investments with a field of study in ESG Investment advisor. In 2009, they briefly studied at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, earning a certification in Certified Professional Renewable Energy Finance (CPREF). Prior to that, in 2003, they obtained a certification in Certified Credit Analyst (CCrA) from DVFA. It is unknown when they started or finished their studies, but they hold a degree in Wirtschaftsjurist from the University of Mannheim.
