Weng Kwan Leong

Weng Kwan Leong has a strong background in finance and management, with experience spanning over two decades. Weng Kwan is currently the Asia Pacific Finance Director at Esko since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Management Consultant at Life Connexions Pte Ltd from December 2019 to March 2020.

From 2011 to 2019, Leong held the position of Vice President & Finance Director at Wiley. In this role, they reported to the Chief Accounting Officer (Global) and managed locations across 11 countries in the Asia Pacific region. Weng Kwan was responsible for financial reporting, treasury, tax, credit management, and SOX controls.

Before joining Wiley, Leong served as the Finance Director at ModusLink from 2004 to 2011. Weng Kwan managed 13 Solution Centers across 10 countries in Asia and Europe and led the business finance function for Europe and Asia.

Leong also has experience working with Veritas Software as the Regional Reporting Lead from 2003 to 2004 and with Sun Microsystems as a Senior Accountant from 1999 to 2003.

Throughout their career, Leong has demonstrated their expertise in financial management, team leadership, and strategic planning.

Weng Kwan Leong has completed INSEAD Executive Education in Leading for Results. They also hold a B ACC (Honours) degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Chartered Accountant.
