Piers Masarati

Piers Masarati is currently the Head of Championship Operations at eSkootr Championship. Prior to this, they were the Sales Director at The View from The Shard from May 2017 to February 2020. There, they formulated a commercial sales strategy that led to record sales and visitor numbers in both 2018 and 2019. Piers also delivered a first-class experience for all guests and ensured a ROI for their stakeholders.

Masarati has extensive experience in various aspects of revenue generation, including ticketing, F&B, corporate events, retail, merchandise, VIP and nightlife products. Piers is skilled in leading teams across all sales areas and monitoring all KPIs to achieve sales objectives. Piers has also formulated budgets, identified growth areas, monitored revenue and maximised financial performance.

In 2018, Masarati was responsible for overall visitor numbers in the B2B and B2C channels - a record year for The View from The Shard. Piers also developed new commercial, sponsorship and branding agreements with LVMH and other high-end brands. In addition, they created two external sales teams, developed and implemented a new marketing strategy including all ATL and BTL media spends, delivered a new website and managed the internal and external call centre teams.

Piers Masarati attended Brunel University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Piers also attended Harrow Weald College and Nower Hill. Piers is certified as a Person Licence Holder from Reigate & Banstead Borough Council.

Piers Masarati works with Vinit Patel - Technical Director, Head of Events - Head of Events. Piers Masarati reports to Khalil Beschir, Chief Operating Officer. Some direct reports include Paul Williamson - Logistics Coordinator, Joe Akroyd - Rider and Team Liaison Coordinator.
