Maayan Birger

Maayan Birger has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. They have held the position of Vice President of Data & ML Engineering at ESL FACEIT Group - EFG since 2023. Prior to this, Maayan worked at Keyrus from 2016 to 2023, where they served in multiple roles including Senior Vice President of Delivery & Operations, VP Data Intelligence, Director & Chief Data Engineer, and Managing Consultant, Data Engineering. At Keyrus, they oversaw technical data projects, managed teams, and developed data roadmaps for clients. From 2017 to 2019, Maayan worked as the Head of Customer Solutions at Rivery. Additionally, they gained experience at Vision.bi as a BI Project Manager and BI Developer and Analyst from 2013 to 2016. Maayan's career began at Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 as a System Analyst from 2006 to 2008.

Maayan Birger completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering & Management from Tel Aviv University between 2009 and 2013. They have also obtained additional certifications, including an Academy Accreditation - Generative AI Fundamentals from Databricks in August 2023 and a Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner from the Data Vault Alliance in 2017.
