Savannah Jade Montoya has a diverse work experience in various roles. In 2016, they worked as a Marketer for The Alive Movement, a non-profit suicide prevention organization. From 2017 to 2018, they held the role of Shift Lead at Nekter Juice Bar. In 2018, they began freelancing as a Model. In 2019, they worked as a Service Banker at Bank of the West. In 2021, they interned at Premier Forensic Psychology, focusing on victim advocacy and counseling. In 2022, they joined Redivider as a Senior Reader and General Reader for poetry. Savannah also worked as an Intern at Premier Forensic Psychology, assisting with forensic civil psychology. Savannah attended Emerson College starting in 2022, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Popular Fiction Writing & Publishing.

From 2019 to 2021, they attended California State University, Fullerton, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. Savannah'smajor was English and Psychology.

Prior to that, from 2016 to 2019, they attended Fullerton College and earned Associate's Degrees in English Language and Literature.

In 2017, they briefly attended the University of London, where they studied English Literature (British and Commonwealth).

In addition to their formal education, Savannah has obtained several certifications. In March 2023, they earned a CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the National CPR Foundation. In November 2021, they received an eCPR certification from the National Coalition for Mental Health Recovery. In August 2021, they obtained a Professional Assault Crisis Training certification from Pro-ACT, Inc. Savannah also became an Adult Mental Health First Aid Instructor in March 2021 through the National Council for Behavioral Health. In January 2021, they became a certified Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid Maryland. Savannah'searliest certification, obtained in August 2019, is as a Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor from Waymakers.
