Andrus Alber is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in finance and governance. Currently serving as a Member of the Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), Andrus has held significant positions including Board Member of FinanceEstonia and Deputy Chairman of the Estonian Fiscal Council. As a co-founder and former CEO of Finora Group and Bankish, Andrus has been instrumental in advancing fintech solutions in Estonia. Previous roles include membership on the Supervisory Board at Swedbank Investment Funds and involvement with Nasdaq Tallinn and the American Chamber of Commerce in Estonia. Education includes a Master's degree in International Relations and Economics from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.
