Arnaud Faure

Arnaud Faure is a seasoned risk expert with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) since 2019, focusing on prudential matters for Central Counterparties (CCPs) and overseeing EU-wide Supervisory Stress Test exercises. Prior to ESMA, Arnaud worked at the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) in France as a risk expert from 2016 to 2018, where responsibilities included supervision of CCPs and participation in various regulatory task forces. Previous positions also encompass roles such as CIB Business Manager at Santander Global Banking & Markets, Finance Trainer at Renaissance Finance, and Market & Counterparty Credit Risk Project Manager at La Banque Postale. Arnaud began a career in finance as a Financial Engineer at Moody's Analytics and has also gained practical experience through internships at Thomson Reuters and Messier-Bugatti-Dowty. Educationally, Arnaud holds a Master of Engineering and an MSc in Mathematics and Finance from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rouen, along with having passed Level I of the CFA Program.
