John Lee

John Lee has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting from 2022, they worked as the Head of Course Operations at Esme Learning, where they were responsible for managing the logistics and operations associated with supporting learners in their online professional development programs. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, they served as a Program Manager at Pioneer Academics, overseeing an international team and coordinating efforts between students and professors in an online research program for high school students.

John also has experience in the education sector. From 2011 to 2019, they worked as a Program Manager for Distance Learning Programs at COCONINO COUNTY REGIONAL ACCOMMODATION SD, where they developed and oversaw distance learning programs and created a successful hybrid in-person/online learning school. John also served as a Transition Counselor and Academic and Vocational Advisor, implementing strategies for academic success and assisting with school transitions.

Additionally, John has held leadership positions in non-profit organizations. John founded Onetribe at Northern Arizona University, a non-profit organization providing support to minority students. As the Director of Operations, they led a team of coordinators and trained new recruits. John also served as the Director of Programs at Fourcorners Association, overseeing 12 youth programs and providing leadership training in a cross-cultural context.

Finally, prior to these roles, John worked as an Academic Advisor at Northland Pioneer College. Overall, John Lee has a strong background in operations, program management, distance learning, student support, and leadership in both educational and non-profit organizations.

John Lee has a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. John also holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Sociology with an emphasis in Family Studies from Northern Arizona University. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Google Project Management and PreK-12 Guidance Counseling from Google and the Arizona Department of Education, respectively.
