Sarah Hedley

Sarah Hedley is an experienced professional in social investment and philanthropy. Currently serving as the Social Investment Portfolio Manager at Esmée Fairbairn Foundation since January 2021, Sarah Hedley manages a portfolio focused on environmental investing within a £45m social investment fund. Previously, as Head of Programmes at The Stone Family Foundation from November 2015 to December 2020, Sarah Hedley designed and implemented growth strategies to support social enterprises in the water and sanitation sector. Sarah Hedley also has a robust background as a Senior Consultant at New Philanthropy Capital, advising clients on strategy and impact measurement, along with previous roles as a Trustee of Hackney Quest and as a Lead Researcher at Intelligent Giving. Sarah Hedley holds a BA in Modern History and Politics from the University of Oxford.
