Robert Cates

Robert Cates is an experienced professional in sales and marketing with a focus on the advanced materials and electronics sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Sales & Marketing at ESP Spares, Inc. since August 2024, Robert has held various strategic roles including Marketing Director for Semicon and Advanced Electronics at Mott Corporation, and Global Marketing positions at The Chemours Company and Avient Corporation. Starting a career at Cabot Microelectronics, Robert progressed through multiple roles from Director of Marketing to Global Quality Manager over an 21-year tenure. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
