Elizabeth Bercovitz

Elizabeth Bercovitz has a diverse range of work experience in the education field. Elizabeth began their career in 2011 as a Teach For America Corps Member, where they taught in under-resourced public schools and underwent intensive training to improve student achievement. From 2011 to 2014, Elizabeth worked at Herron High School as a math teacher and later as a Student Performance Accountability Specialist. In these roles, they led remedial and advanced math courses, developed curriculum, and prepared students for standardized exams.

In 2014, Elizabeth joined Pearson as an Associate Digital Editor and later as a Usability and Participatory Design Research Associate. Elizabeth contributed to digital content and conducted research to improve user experience.

From 2016 to 2017, Elizabeth worked at Noble Network of Charter Schools as a Math Teacher and 9th Grade Teacher Lead. Elizabeth provided instruction and leadership to enhance student learning and academic outcomes.

Elizabeth then joined eSpark Learning and held various roles from 2017 to 2021. Elizabeth started as a Strategic Partnership Associate, managing school partners and delivering professional development sessions. Elizabeth later became a Professional Learning Specialist, where they developed a self-service training strategy that was well-received by teachers. Finally, Elizabeth served as the Head of Professional Learning and Support, overseeing a team and scaling professional learning programs for thousands of teachers while maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings. In this role, they successfully transitioned the team to a new support tool.

From 2011 to 2013, they attended Marian University Indianapolis and earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Secondary Education (Mathematics).

Prior to that, they attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General. Elizabeth also had minors in Chemistry and Spanish.
