Nikola Rajovic

Nikola Rajovic has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Nikola is currently working at Esperanto Technologies, Inc as a Design Verification Manager, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Software and DV Engineer at the same company from February 2019 to February 2021.

Before joining Esperanto Technologies, Inc, Nikola served as a Lead Software Architect at Zühlke Group from July 2018 to February 2019. Nikola also worked as an Expert Software Engineer at the same company from September 2017 to June 2018.

In 2016, Nikola worked as a Senior Computer Vision R&D Software Engineer at InsideMaps Inc from December 2016 to July 2017.

Nikola'sacademic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Nikola worked as a PhD Student at the university from September 2011 to June 2017, focusing on bringing ARM processor architecture into High Performance Computing. During this time, they were involved in designing, deploying, tuning, analyzing, and simulating large-scale ARM processor-based clusters.

Prior to their PhD studies, Nikola worked as a Resident Student (Research Assistant) at Barcelona Supercomputing Center from February 2011 to December 2016. In this role, they evaluated Mobile SoCs for High-Performance Computing, benchmarked different target CPU and GPU mobile solutions, and developed performance and power models for SoCs. Nikola also contributed to the design of energy-efficient HPC SoC architectures.

In 2013, Nikola gained industry experience as a Graduate Intern at Mobile Communications Group in Intel Corporation. Nikola was involved in mobile communication projects during their internship from July 2013 to September 2013.

Nikola's early work experience includes a role as a Research and Development Engineer at ETF, Belgrade from an undisclosed start month in 2008 to February 2011. In this role, they focused on embedded systems design, development, and deployment, as well as managing research projects.

Nikola also had an undergraduate internship as a Student intern at TES Electronic Solutions from March 2007 to May 2007.

Nikola Rajovic completed their education in a chronological manner. Nikola started their academic journey in 2004 at the University of Belgrade, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a major in Electronics. Nikola successfully completed this program in 2008 and obtained the degree of Dipl.Ing.

Following this, from 2008 to 2010, Rajovic continued their studies at the University of Belgrade, where they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering (MEng) with a specialization in Electrical and Computer Engineering, again focusing on Electronics. Nikola completed this program in 2010.

After their Master's degree, Rajovic further pursued their educational journey at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Nikola enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Computer Architecture and started their studies in 2011. Graduating in 2017, Rajovic successfully earned their PhD degree from this institution.

Throughout their educational history, Rajovic demonstrated a consistent focus on the fields of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with particular expertise in Computer Architecture.
