Rene Isunza

Rene Isunza, MBA has a strong background in the hospitality and food service industry, with experience in various managerial roles. Rene most recently served as the Senior Director of Operations at Esperanza Health Centers. Prior to that, they worked as the Food and Beverage Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. and as the FoodService Accounting Manager at Connie's Pizza. Rene also held positions such as Purchasing Manager at Ace Hotel / Atelier Ace, Corporate Food and Beverage Trainer at Gila River Hotels & Casinos, and Food and Beverage Manager at The Scott Resort & Spa. Earlier in their career, Rene worked as the Thirsty Complex Manager at The Phoenician, Food and Beverage Supervisor at St. Regis Aspen Resort, and F&B Controller at Mortons The Steakhouse. Rene began their career as a Management in Training (MIT) at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Rene Isunza, MBA, has an extensive education history in the field of Hospitality Administration/Management. Rene completed their Bachelor's degree in Gastonomy from Universidad Anáhuac between 2003 and 2007, specializing in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management. In 2010, Rene pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution, earning it in 2013. Additionally, in 2012 they briefly attended Universidad Nebrija, where they studied International Business within the field of Hospitality Administration/Management. To further enhance their expertise, Rene obtained a GS1 Foundations Virtual Classroom Certificate from GS1 US in April 2021.
