Turo Turja

Turo Turja is a highly experienced executive-level strategic HR leader currently serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at Esperi Care Oy since February 2024. Previously, Turo held the position of Henkilöstöjohtaja (SVP HR) at Consti Group from August 2018 to January 2024, demonstrating a seasoned, business-oriented approach to human resources with a hands-on attitude. Turo's extensive background includes roles as HR Director at SSAB, where responsibilities encompassed human resource operations for 1,800 employees across 12 production sites, and HR Manager at Rautaruukki Oyj, managing HR for 1,600 personnel. Earlier experience also includes HR Manager roles at Maan Auto Oy and Steveco, overseeing HR for over 2,000 employees combined. Turo began a career in HR as an Adviser at TEK, focusing on collective bargaining and employment contracts. Turo holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from LUT University, a Master of Science in Information System Science from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Administrative Sciences in Civil Law at Itäsuomen Yliopisto.
