Edgar Gilberto Ramirez Quiroz

Edgar Gilberto Ramirez Quiroz has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Edgar Gilberto currently works at Espressive as the GDL Site Manager Espressionist, where they oversee the software development process and manages software projects, ensuring smooth progress and coordinating solutions with the engineering team. Prior to this, they were at Amdocs as the Lead Project Manager for AT&T North America, responsible for managing large-scale IT programs and projects with budgets up to $7 million, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. Edgar Gilberto also has experience at Tata Consultancy Services, where they worked as a Project Manager for Citigroup and USAA, overseeing security and quality assurance projects. Edgar also worked at HITSS as a QA Lead for ICW Group, implementing process improvements and defining project roles and responsibilities. Edgar Gilberto has further experience at Softtek as a QA Lead/Sr. Test Engineer, working on storage management systems, and at IBM as an IT Specialist, leading test phases and coordinating hardware requirements. Additionally, Edgar has experience as a System and Network Administrator at the IT Department of Guzman city Hall, and as a Developer and Research Assistant at the National Institute of Nuclear Investigation, where they focused on molecular simulation and nanoparticle characterization.

Edgar Gilberto Ramirez Quiroz started their education in 2000 and completed it in 2005 at the Instituto Tecnologico de Cd. Guzman. Edgar Gilberto obtained a degree in Ingeniero en Sistemas de Computación with a field of study in Tecnología de la información. In 2003, they also attended the Universidad de Guadalajara and completed their studies in 2006, receiving a Tecnico Superior Universitario en Administración de Redes de Computo degree with a field of study in Tecnología de la información.

In addition to their formal education, Edgar has obtained several certifications. In 2011, they obtained the Foundation Level Software Testing (CTFL) certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In 2012, they obtained the Advanced Level Test Manager (CTAL-TM) certification from the same institution. In 2013, they acquired the Project Management Professional ® (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and the Certified Scrum Master ® (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. In 2016, they received the Scrum Master Accredited Certification ™ (SMAC) from the International Scrum Institute™, followed by the Scrum Product Owner Accredited Certification ™ (SPOAC) in 2016 from the same institution. Later, in 2017, Edgar obtained the CompTIA Project+ certification from CompTIA. Lastly, in 2022, they received the CompTIA Subject Matter Expert certification from CompTIA.
