Shubhomoy Das has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and research. Shubhomoy is currently working at Espressive as a Machine Learning professional. Prior to that, they worked at Astound as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist, where they customized ML algorithms to meet business requirements, improved knowledge base article recommendations and ticket categorization accuracy, and diagnosed and resolved issues in ML algorithms. Shubhomoy Das completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Govt. Engg. College, Jabalpur, MP, India from 1996 to 2000. Shubhomoy then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Statistics at Oregon State University, from 2012 to 2014. Subsequently, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Oregon State University between 2009 and 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Shubhomoy Das has earned certifications in various fields. Shubhomoy completed the Natural Language Processing Specialization from Coursera in April 2022. Shubhomoy also holds a certification as a Certified Software Quality Analyst. Furthermore, they are MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certified in Designing and Implementing Databases with SQL Server 2000; however, the name of the institution where they obtained this certification is unspecified, along with the specific month and year.
