EspriGas brings a modern approach to the $130 billion gas industry by utilizing a network business model to deliver products nationwide. We leverage our unique service and technological capabilities to handle the complex logistical needs of large, multi-site companies through a national network of gas supply partners. Our customers include Fortune 1000 companies across various industries, such as food and beverage, healthcare, construction, manufacturing, etc. Examples include providing medical gas to large clinic chains, pet hospitals, and CO2 for top restaurant chains such as Panda Express. Our industry produces, distributes, and sells atmospheric gases and other specialty products.

Purpose of the Position:

The Director of Sales manages and oversees the sales operations in an organization. Main duties include designing plans to meet sales targets, developing and cultivating relationships with clients and evaluating costs to determine their products' pricing when selling to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.

  • Communicate opportunities, risks, and barriers related to achieving sales goals and ensure Sales and Account Management, C-level executives, and other relevant parties are informed on the plan of action.

  • Compile and communicate detailed and accurate sales reports for relevant approved parties.

  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.

  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.

  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.

  • Assist VP of Sales and Account Management to prioritize target markets, accounts, and create a GTM/Sales Playbook.

  • Assist VP of Sales and Account Management to develop new customer quoting tools and market pricing trends.

  • Assist VP of Sales and Account Management to develop and implement marketing campaigns to support segment growth across all business segments.

  • Collaborate with relevant teams to create a repeatable and effective sales process.

  • Establish a Sales training program to train new employees.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.

  • Meet with Sales and Account Managers to assess company targets and performance.

  • Work directly with business unit executives, Sales and Account Managers, and other relevant support members to convert existing prospects into customers.

  • Identify resources required from relevant teams and business units to support new business growth.

  • Collaborate with relevant leadership in motivating staff to excel in customer service and experience.

  • Collaborate with strategic partners to provide project planning and structure to build and achieve relevant sales goals.

  • Connect with Sales and Account Management to determine needed technology and support to achieve goals and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge with at least 7 years of experience in sales, project management, or business process management
  • In-depth knowledge of sales or marketing techniques and best practices.

  • Understands and promotes standardized project methodologies, practices and standards.

  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions

  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage direct-report employees including skills development, career development and performance management.

Travel:

  • Travel up to 30%
