Avery German

Avery German is a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer currently employed at ESRD, Inc. since June 2020. Between August 2020 and August 2022, Avery served as an Assistant Instructor for the MEMS-5704 Aircraft Structures graduate course at Washington University in St. Louis, focusing on structural analysis and finite element analysis applications. Previous experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at the Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth from June 2018 to August 2019, and serving as a Student Patrol Officer at Gettysburg College from August 2014 to May 2017, where duties involved campus patrolling and community safety initiatives. Additionally, Avery contributed to research on Laser-Induced Fluorescence in Argon plasma under Dr. Tim Good as a Summer Research Assistant, and interned at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory assisting Dr. Manfred Bitter. Avery holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Gettysburg College.
