Mark Tully is an experienced Beamline Scientist at ESRF - The European Synchrotron, specializing in BioSAXS since March 2017. Responsibilities include technical development of the beamline and providing user support in SAXS, experimental setup, and data analysis for both academic and industrial users. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Diamond Light Source, working on the SAXS beamline B21, and conducting research on Alzheimer’s disease at the University of Liverpool. Mark began a career as a Research Assistant at Bio Products Laboratory Limited, developing an immunoaffinity method for a therapeutic product. Mark holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Structural Biology, and an MSc in Industrial Biotechnology, complemented by a BSc in Biochemistry.
