William Carney

William Carney is a skilled GIS Software Engineer and Geographic Information Systems Consultant at Esri UK since February 2021, with extensive experience in data management and analysis related to marine environments. Previously, from December 2018 to February 2021, Carney served as a Data/Geographic Information Systems Officer at the Marine Management Organisation, focusing on operational management of the UK's seas. Prior roles include Associate Programme Officer (Spatial Data) at UNEP-WCMC, contributing to protected areas management, and research positions at the Community of Arran Seabed Trust and Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre, performing field surveys and ecological research.
