Jeff Shaner

Jeff Shaner is an accomplished Product Engineering Director at Esri, with a career spanning from September 1995 to the present. Shaner leads the engineering of field applications, driving user requirements and customer engagement, while collaborating with various sectors to address software challenges. Previously, Shaner served as Product Manager for the Applications Group, defining user requirements and facilitating successful product adoption. Experience also includes roles as Program Manager for Mobile Technologies and ArcGIS Desktop Products, overseeing the development and release of key software, and contributing to product vision and strategy. Early in the career, Shaner worked as GIS Manager at DevelTech, managing significant data projects and conducting research on RADARSAT imagery. Shaner holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Regina.
