Lauren Spereall has a diverse range of work experience in the HR field. Lauren started their career as an Administration Assistant at John Knight Glass in 2013. Lauren then worked as a Payroll Officer and Receptionist at Land & Marine Engineering Limited in 2014. In 2015, they became an Assistant Human Capital Advisor at J. Murphy & Sons Limited, and later transitioned to a role as an HC Advisor at J Murphy and Sons in 2016. Lauren joined Suttons Group in 2018 as an HR Advisor and then moved to Essar Oil (UK) Limited in 2019. At Essar Oil, they initially worked as a Human Resources Business Partner and later became the Head of People and Engagement. During their career, Lauren has gained extensive experience in various HR functions and has worked closely with senior management teams.

Lauren Spereall obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Liverpool John Moores University in 2012. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services at the same university from 2014 to 2017.
