Tony McTomney

Tony McTomney has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Tony started their career as an Electrical Apprentice at BILFINGER INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION SERVICES LIMITED in 1990 and later worked as a Cost & Estimating Engineer, Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager, and Senior Proposal Engineer. In 2013, they transitioned to Essar Oil (UK) Limited where they took on roles such as Project Accounts Analyst, Finance Analyst, Internal Auditor, Enterprise Risk Manager, and currently works as the Head of Internal Audit.

Tony McTomney completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Internal Audit Management and Consultancy from Birmingham City University in the years 2020 to 2022. Tony also earned a CIMA Certificate in Accounting and Finance from BPP University. Furthermore, Tony is a Chartered Member in Internal Audit from the Institute of Internal Auditors. Additionally, they hold a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from St Helens College.
