Khushru Umrigar

Khushru Umrigar has extensive work experience in various managerial roles in different companies. Khushru started their career at Essar in 2003, where they held positions such as Joint General Manager - Group Assurance & Cost Control and Dy. General Manager - Information Technology & Business Process. In these roles, they were responsible for risk-based audit planning, leading audit reviews, and providing solutions to long-standing issues. Khushru also supervised and mentored a team of professionals and successfully completed SAP projects. In 2013, Khushru joined Algoma Steel Inc. as Manager & Chief Audit Executive. In this position, they were responsible for compiling and approving risk-based audit plans, conducting audit reviews, and effectively closing audit recommendations. Khushru Umrigar has a wealth of experience in audit, finance, information technology, and corporate accounts.

Khushru Umrigar completed their high school education at Sir JJ English Medium School in 1995, where they obtained their SSC (Class 10) degree with a focus on Business/Commerce. Khushru then went on to T&TV Sarvajanik High School and received their HSC (High School Diploma) in Commerce in 1997.

Following their high school education, Khushru enrolled in Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Auditing. Khushru completed this program in 2000.

In 2000, Khushru also joined The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to pursue a Master's degree in Chartered Accountancy, which they completed in 2003.

From 2001 to 2003, Khushru attended V. T. Choksi Sarvajanik Law College and obtained their Bachelor's degree in Law.

To further enhance their professional qualifications, Khushru obtained additional certifications as well. In 2010, they received the SAP Certified Financial Accounting Consultant certification from SAP. In 2011, they completed an Executive MBA program at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
