Dean Drakis

Dean Drakis has extensive work experience in the field of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S). Dean currently holds the position of Director Environmental, Health, Safety, Security & Compliance/Food Safety at Essendant, where they are responsible for implementing comprehensive EHSS&C systems and strategies. Prior to this, Dean worked as the Director of Safety at PRIDE Industries, overseeing training, regulatory compliance, and hazardous material storage programs. Dean also served as an EH&S Manager at Perrigo Company plc, managing manufacturing sites and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Earlier in their career, Dean worked at Amazon as a Corporate EH&S Construction Manager and Site EH&S Manager, ensuring safety compliance and driving cross-functional initiatives. Dean also held various EH&S roles at The Home Depot, including Regional EH&S Manager and Loss Prevention/EH&S Manager. Throughout their career, Dean has demonstrated leadership in managing teams and implementing EH&S protocols.

Dean Drakis obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Environmental Studies from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2008. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications from institutions such as OSHA Safety Training Institute, National Safety Council, American Red Cross, and others.
