Meredith Ulrich (Misha)

Meredith (Misha) Ulrich has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2011, Ulrich worked as an Assistant Events Coordinator (Intern) at the Life Foundation, where they were responsible for planning and executing the Honolulu AIDS Walk. Meredith (Misha) then joined Becker Communications, Inc. in 2012 as a Public Relations Intern, supporting high-visibility clients and assisting with tasks such as writing press releases and managing social media accounts. In 2009, Ulrich worked as a Legal Assistant at Judith Romanowski Law Practice, where they drafted case summaries, reviewed medical documents, and managed the attorney's schedule.

Moving forward, Ulrich joined The Korea Society in 2015 as a Policy and Corporate Programs Intern, where they planned and managed programs and events and conducted research on policy and affairs relating to the Korean Peninsula. In the same year, they also worked at Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) as a Field Human Resources- Recruitment and Outreach Events specialist. In this role, they designed and implemented a recruitment and outreach strategy and created an integrated communications plan to increase target market engagement.

Ulrich continued to expand their skills and experience by working as an Account Coordinator at Affect, Inc. in 2016, where they coordinated client accounts and provided support in marketing and public relations. Meredith (Misha) then joined North Korea Strategy Center U.S., Inc. as a Marketing and Community Engagement Officer, responsible for facilitating community engagement and promoting the organization's mission.

In 2017, Ulrich took on a role as a Member of the Board of Directors at Also-Known-As, Inc., where they served as a Director of Youth and Teen Mentorship Programs. Meredith (Misha) also joined PRSA-NY the same year, serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and an Associate Director of Membership.

Most recently, Ulrich held roles at essense partners. Meredith (Misha) started in 2017 as a Strategy Consultant and then progressed to Senior Marketing Strategist in 2018. In 2019, they became the Director of Communications and later advanced to the position of Senior Director of Communications in October 2021.

Through their roles, Ulrich has gained extensive experience in communications, marketing, public relations, and event management, demonstrating their versatility and ability to thrive in various professional environments.

Meredith (Misha) Ulrich earned a Master's Degree in International Relations from the University of Melbourne in 2013-2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Hawaii Pacific University in 2008-2012. In 2011, they had the opportunity to study abroad at Sogang University, focusing on Korean Language and Korean History for a semester. Meredith (Misha) also attended the Semester at Sea program in 2009, where they studied Biomedical Ethics, Rhetorical Theory, and Global Studies.
