John Ruben

As Biotechnology Manufacturing Technician 1, John holds responsibility for processing and ensuring proper development and manufacturing of cellular and tissue products derived from the gift of donations. John additionally assists with guaranteeing donations and associated products are held to the highest quality standard with sterilized laboratories and equipment.

John was previously a Scientist 1 with Horizon Discovery, whose core products involved oligonucleotide synthesis via synthetic procedures, and viral components for various research therapies, of which his main contributions were process improvements and reduction of synthesis equipment faults.

John received a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
