Madeline Sopa

As a Cell Research Technician, Maddie is responsible for handling the technical aspects of tissue and cellular product development and manufacturing at Essent Biologics. Certified in CPR and First Aid, Maddie has also taken on the position of Safety Officer for Essent labs where she oversees the safety audits to ensure the highest in safety measures are upheld at Essent.

Maddie previously worked at Eurofins BioDiagnostics, performing qPCR and ELISA assays to screen crop samples for potential viral contaminants.

Maddie received her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology from Arizona State University in 2021.
