Maarten Kuikman

Maarten Kuikman has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Maarten started their career as an Employee Financial Accounting at Essent in April 2011 and later became a Financial Accountant. Maarten then transitioned to the role of Senior Financial Accountant in April 2012 and eventually became the Manager of Financial Accounting in May 2013. Maarten joined Fagro Consultancy in April 2011 as a Financial Consultant, a role they held until November 2015. After their time at Fagro Consultancy, they returned to Essent and took on various roles such as Senior Business Controller, Business Unit Controller, and Manager Controlling. In October 2020, Maarten was promoted to the Director Controlling / Finance Director ES&M role at Essent.

Maarten Kuikman has a education background that includes an Executive Master of Finance & Control / Register Controller (RC) from Maastricht University (2012-2014), a Master's degree in Strategic Management from Tilburg University (2009-2010), a Bachelor's degree in Business economics from Tilburg University (2004-2010), and a Gymnasium diploma from College Rolduc (1998-2004). In addition, they have a Lean Practitioner certification from Kaizen Institute Benelux.
