Daniel Kelly

Daniel Kelly is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and standards coordination, currently serving as a Senior Engineering Officer and Underground Design and Construction Standards Coordinator at Essential Energy since July 2012. In this role, Daniel is the Vic Chair and Board member of the Streets Opening Coordination Council, overseeing investment programs valued at $7 million annually, developing underground asset strategy, maintaining distribution standards, and conducting technical evaluations. Previously, Daniel worked as an Incident Analyst, providing investigative support and holding a Certificate IV in Government Investigation. Daniel's earlier experience includes a role as Senior Engineering Officer at Essential Energy from 2009 to 2012, focusing on underground electrical distribution standards, and as Team Leader at PowerServe, managing construction site coordination and contractor support. Daniel completed Year 12 at Kendall Central School and has foundational education from North Haven Primary.
