Laura Castagno

Laura Castagno has a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Laura began their career in 1997 as a Quality Assurance Assistant at Jetpharma SA. Laura then moved on to Bigmar SA in 1998 as a Quality Control Manager. In 2001, they joined Helsinn Group as a Quality Assurance Manager. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at PHF SA (Part of FIS Holding) as Technical Director and Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager. In 2012, they became Technical Director - Consultant at Purexis. From 2013 to 2018, they were Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Business Unit Director at Pharma Quality Europe. In 2018, they joined Primex Pharmaceuticals as Director Global Regulatory Affairs and Quality and RP/RPPV for Switzerland, and later as Director Global Regulatory Affairs and RP/RPPV for Switzerland. In 2021, they became Director Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance at SFL Regulatory Affairs & Scientific Communication GmbH, and Director Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Quality and Medical Affairs at Corza Medical. Laura currently holds the role of Senior Director QA, RA & PV at Essential Pharma.

Laura Castagno began their educational journey in 1985 when they completed their Scientific diploma at Liceo Scientifico Carlo Cattaneo. Laura then attended Università degli Studi di Torino from 1990 to 1996, where they earned a Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. In 2008, they attended Università degli Studi di Milano and earned a Master in Patents and Intellectual Property.
