Paul Coyle

Paul Coyle is an accomplished professional in operational management with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Operational Strategy, Performance and Compliance at Essex County Council since November 2022, Paul is integral to the Customer Senior Leadership Team. Prior to this role, Paul held significant positions including Head of Operations at FIRSTBUS GROUP LIMITED, and Divisional Manager at Go North East, where responsibilities encompassed operational performance and resource management. Earlier career milestones include successful completion of the Go-Ahead Graduate Management Training Programme and leadership roles at Go Ahead London and The Go-Ahead Group plc. Paul possesses an MSc in Leadership and Management and a BA in International Business from Northumbria University.
