Stephen Simpkin

Stephen Simpkin is a seasoned data and analysis professional currently serving as a Data Science Fellow and Senior Organisational Intelligence Officer at Essex County Council since August 2008. Responsibilities include collating, analyzing, and interpreting diverse data sets and reporting findings to relevant audiences. In addition to this role, a secondment at the Cabinet Office as Head of Analysis, Research, and Evaluation commenced in October 2023 and will continue until April 2024, focusing on the Civil Service's analytical and research needs. Previously, Stephen worked in teacher recruitment at the Training and Development Agency for Schools from August 2005 to July 2008. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Portsmouth.
