Genevieve Benware

Genevieve began working for Essex in 2014 in property-level operations at the Hampton Inn and Suites Lake Placid. She was promoted to Guest Service Manager and later Assistant General Manager. She joined the home office team in 2022 and is currently responsible for processing payroll for all portfolio properties. In addition, she provides operational and taskforce support to the hotels. Prior to Essex, she worked in the retail industry and held a supervisory position for four years at Van Heusen. She also was a college tutor during her time in school where she graduated from North Country Community College with an AA in Liberal Arts and Sciences.
